- Trim the Wick: Always trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before lighting the candle. This prevents the flame from getting too large and smoking, which can lead to soot buildup.
- First Burn: Allow your candle to burn for at least 2-3 hours on its first use or until the entire surface has melted. This prevents tunnelling, where the candle only burns down the center, leaving unused wax on the sides.
- Keep Away from Drafts: Place candles away from drafts, open windows, or fans to ensure an even burn and to prevent dripping or flickering.
- Burn on a Level Surface: Ensure your candle is placed on a stable and heat-resistant surface. This prevents it from tipping over and causing a fire hazard.

- Keep the Wax Pool Clean: Remove any debris or burnt wick trimmings from the wax pool to ensure a clean burn.
- Store Candles Properly: Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading or warping.

- Safety First: Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Use candle holders or containers designed for candles to prevent accidents.
